When Robert steps out into the night he catches thieves in the very act of stealing his beloved bicycle! This rollicking tragicomedy takes you on a journey through the highs and lows of lost love, questionable social responsibility, confession, and possible redemption. It all plays out through puppetry and song, packed and portable, for your enjoyment, on a couple of old postie bikes.

THe Hopefuls
A whimsical roving puppet duo, Mr and Mrs Hopeful, and in the pram their sleeping grandbaby, this big family simply loves to get out! The Hopefuls promenade and participate in activities happening all around them, be it dancing, or queueing at a food van, all the while pondering what it means to be part of a community. They are keen to fit in but can’t quite help standing out in a crowd!
